Well, my small steps towards completing the site continue. I have the contact page up – though I still need to add a clear link to it – DOH!

I’m going to take a look at the commenting features now also. I’ve been holding off on this, as from reading comments around about Textpattern’s built in commenting functionality it is a bit lacking – so I’ve had to prepare myself for this step.

So, here goes…

A Work In Progress · 01/14/2006

Well, work continues around here. I did some work on the CSS today, and got the About section up an running. Still to come is my contact page, getting comments up and running, and the pesky image I have in mind to add the little bit-o-life to the site.

I’m really liking Textpattern. This is looking to be a really good selection for managing my site.

In order to keep making progress on this rebuild I’m going to stop there and get back to work.

My First Entry · 01/08/2006

Well, after more time than I care to consider I finally have relaunched euphoriagraphics.com. I’ve overhauled the front end and back end, including adding Textpattern for managing my content.

While circumstances require I get the site live quickly, I’m still finishing up the design, which means it will be evolving here live over the next several days. I’m still working out the kinks in getting to know Textpattern (I think I’m doing pretty well for installing it for the first time a little more than 1 week ago), though it is very straight forward and easy to learn. There is more color an imagery on the way – I’m tweaking the images some now that I’ve seen them in the real world.

I’ll be posting here regarding updates to the site, and other design related topics regularly.

Unfortunately I haven’t had the opportunity yet to get to know the commenting system of Textpattern, so that will be coming soon.

I’m off to get my portfolio up and running now.
