About Me, My Skills, and This Site
Me
I’m a web designer/developer specializing in the building of standards compliant web sites. When I’m not in front of my screen, I’m likely to be found shuttling one of my kids off to an event somewhere around central Ohio. Oh wait, you probably want to know about my skills…
I’ve been a full time web designer since 1999. I got my start in web design developing online learning solutions for then Bank One, now JP Morgan Chase & Co. In an effort to make our learning content as accessible as possible I quickly picked up on the importance of web standards, and became a bit of an evangelist within the learning community of the bank.
I quickly realized I wanted to do more with my skills and have been moonlighting as a freelance web designer anytime the opportunity arises. I enjoy the opportunity to roll up my sleeves with a client and partner to create a great solution.
I like to work hard, I’m efficient, and I’m not afraid of a challenge. I take inspiration from many places and things, mostly things I enjoy, and the individual project.

Site
This site is built using Textpattern, on a Mac (OK, so a Windows machine was used on rare occasion). You’re likely to find dust around from time to time as I redesign and play, and experiment.
